Well it's that time again.  After the success of Eternal Weekend there will be another one March 13th-March 14th.

It will be headlined by this Vintage Tournament on March 13th.  Without further ado...

$10 Sapphire Tournament at Die Hard Games!

Format: Type One /w 20 Proxies! (each Proxy must be labeled on your decklists.  Asterisks * are fine)

Normally I don't bother with pictures of both the front and the back of my prizes since they're generally in great condition, but this Sapphire has seen some play so I wanted to be up-front about the condition.  Also, I always am willing to buy back my prizes for cash or store credit.

There will be a Sunday Legacy Tournament on 3/14.  Top 4 get 4 duals each, and 5th-12 get 4 fetches each.  More details on that one here:

The first Eternal Weekend was the most fun I've ever held running my own tournaments.  I hope to eclipse that with the next one.

Just posted another $10 Vintage tournament I'm holding the weekend before this event.

If you play in both back-to-back $10 Vintage events you will receive $1 store credit, which can be used on anything except tournaments.

I think my tournaments are among the best value out there and provide great bang for your buck.  Most important, I think they are fun   

Two vintage tournaments back-to-back is alot, but I believe they will both be great tournaments. New England has a great stable of vintage players that have already shown me great support. 

Also to my friends in New York, neither of my $10 Vintage tournaments compete with anything in NY on those Saturdays... so my hope is to be able to see some new faces from far away.  I honestly don't expect to see a mass exodus of New Yorkers to my store since I'm a ways away from there, but I believe my events are worth the trip. 

Eternal Weekend in particular is a great weekend to make a trip out of, and many people did so last time.

I've decided to payout to top 8 once I pass 20 entrants (previously listed it as 30).  I should have no problem getting past 20 people and expect to payout to top 8.  

If I get over 30 players then top 4/top 8 prizes will increase even further (super goody table with multiple prize picks )

If I manage to get 40 or more players again, then I will also pay to 9th-12th.  =D

Eternal weekend has quickly turned into my favorite events to run at the store.  I plan for them months ahead of time and actively work to better them as they approach.

There will be more updates as this nears, but I wanted to list some of them now.

One down, one to go.

Gearing up for this weekend.  I will definitely be there both days as it turns out my sister fell in the semis of PT: Opera.  She must've been stuck on one land :p

Both tourneys will start at 1pm sharp.  Please make sure you have decklists ready.  Please <3

Surprised a $10 Sapphire tourney hasn't gotten more views in this forum, but I've gotten alot of feedback in other forums and at the store from people telling me they're stoked for the event so I expect a strong turnout.

There will be side events both days for dual lands and matching fetchlands.  $5 entry.

Really looking forward to the weekend.  Hope to see you there.  =D

I have alot of prizes waiting in the wings depending on attendance.  I plan on paying to top 8 I just need people to show.  I will also bump up prizes with a big turnout. Only had 18 last week and still did goody table for top 8, which went over well.  I plan to do a bigger goody table this week with the hopefully increased attendance.

Sunday;s Legacy getting a ton of buzz too.  The increased REL seems to have helped... if 16 duals and 32 fetches to top 12 weren't already enough =D

Eternal Weekend is a favorite of mine so hopefully another great crowd comes for both days.  Thanks to those who plan on coming to this and even if you don't come, thanks to those reading this.

I'm not at the store right now taking a rare day off.  I look to get them all up tomorrow, Thursday at the latest.

Have to format/host all the pics from 2 diff events plus type up all the decklists, which is why I take a little while.

Sat was great.  Had 29 for vintage.  Luis Gentile won the whole thing.  Sunday was Legacy with 31 people.  Steve Houledette split in the finals of that.  Steve Top 8'd both days so congrats to him.

Had basically the entire room ask when I'm doing more events, but it's going to be a little while.  April is clogged with Eldrazi stuff. I know the weekend I have mapped out is my birthday weekend (May 29th-30th), which also marks the 1 year anniversary of the store being under my ownership.

I'm running lots of events that entire weekend at my store and will be hosting gigantic events for every major format.

Still figuring out what those events are, but I have some ideas

Anyway that's my very small update for today.  Sorry again for delay in decklists, but there will be an entire thread devoted to this past weekend and it will be up very soon.  I'll be sure to link to it in here too.
