Ok, I left during Top 8 so that's all I have for now (Till I get the pics up) Top 8: Jeff Huang (Oath) John (?) - Tezz variant (his often had drains and goyfs) Brett Allen (Some Steel City Vault variant) Eric Campusano (Fish) Dylan (Shops) BC (Shops I assume) ???-Eliotd- (Playing Shops) Patrick (Playing Tez or TPS I assume) Tezzless Tezz (Smennen style) 24 People showed up. Lots of Shops, Fish, Oath, Tez, etc. The one person playing Dredge: LotusHead. I mulled to one round one game one. :/ Loss Win Loss Win Win 3-2 was not good enough to make anything close to top 8 today. In addition to not getting a complete meta breakdown, or even top 8's names, I also didn't get lists. Hopefully they will be put up on www.Eudemonia.net at some point. Pics soon! Bob Big Guy Sol Ring and Sweet hand face down opponent. Brett (Hiryu)'s field versus a basic Island. Apparently, Yawg Will was involved. Sweet Sexy Fish on Fish action. But since I've had to downgrade to cellphone pics, who knows what's going on! I finally got all the stupid ass shitty cards to make a dredge deck (and borrowed Bridges and Firestorms from a local Legacy guy) and resolved Cabal Therapy naming Force of Will. This is what I see. I am blind! Needle was naming Time Vault, and I belive this is Patrick taking 11 to the dome-piece by flipping DSC from Bob. Token Top 8 pic of Patrick vs Dylan (Gambit). Nothing to see here yet. Team Vacaville Scrubbed today (I played dredge for first time, and two new members had their first actual Vintage Tourney Experience today playing my Shop deck and Combo Elves!) I didn't stick around for all the great action! Hiryu perplexed that all his maindeck Stax advantage cards aren't getting there. 2 Maindeck welders, 2 maindeck Grudges, etc. :/ TMD's BC (new to area) getting another NorCal top 8 today! I dunno. Looks like Lodestone Golem vs Goyf. Campee, wanna chime in here? Top 8 pic. Eric (Campee) on the right, and dude I can't remember his name because for some reason we've never been paired up is on left. EDIT: Eliotd John takes the role of Beatdown with Inkwell and Bob, while Jeffthefob finds a solution with the ultimate tutor.... Props to Eudemonia for holding up the tournament for Team Vacaville, as I thought the tourney would be a 1pm (like I think it was last time), but I still TRY to get there half an hour early). It was at noon, but I called ahead at 11:55. These tournies almost never start exactly on time and as luck would have it, we held people up for maybe 15 minutes longer than would be normal start time. Slops: Austin for getting sick before tourney (which I understand), but not answering cellphone. He had a sweet Tezz deck already to go (all my cards), and I would definately have played it instead of dredge if the deck was availiable. But I am glad to have given this deck a shot, and it definately gives me some insight as to how to face the deck. Hell, I might even try it again sometime.

I'm "???" with the Shops (Eliot). Top 4 was 3 Shops decks + Jeff with Oath (2 MUD decks and 1 mono-R). I left after Dylan knocked me out in the mirror match in the semis so not sure what happened after that.
Decent variety today. I saw one Charbelcher and one Painter deck along with the usuals. Patrick was playing "Tez-less Tez" (Menendian's list) and John was playing Tez.
Went Win (vs. Relando's Painter), Win (vs. Dylan's MUD), ID (vs. Patrick's Key-Vault), Win (vs. Michael's Tez?), ID (vs. Jeff's Oath). T8 beat Eric's Fish but then T4 lost to Dylan's MUD.
Game 1 I won the roll and opened with Chalice for 0 which I believe locked Relando out of a Lotus and a Mox. He forced an early Lodestone Golem and got Painter's Servant into play, but I got out another Chalice at 1 keeping him off Grindstone and was then able to get out a Lodestone and 2 Juggernauts.
In game 2 I had a first turn Trinisphere (though he'd already dropped Lotus). On turn 2 he cracked the Lotus to hard cast Force my Lodestone Golem. However he scooped after I resolved Crucible with a Wasteland in the yard (he had a Force in hand, but Trinisphere blocked it).
1-0
Round 2 was the mirror vs. Dylan and was a feature match. Apparently it was more interesting than the previous feature, which was Oath mirror. I won the roll again and started with Chalice at 0 again. Quickly establish Crucible/Waste lock and he scooped.
Game 2 went long. He was grinding me down with a Mishra's Factory, while I was holding onto a Duplicant waiting for him to drop a creature. Some early attacks plus Ancient Tombs had gotten him down to less than 10 life so once he dropped Smokestack, I figured it was time to play Duplicant as a vanilla 2/4 and see what I could do. Unfortunately Dylan had also been holding onto a Duplicant for the same reason so he dropped his the next turn exiling mine. He also found another Factory so I was in trouble. Then I topdecked Sculpting Steel so I went back to having a Duplicant after exiling his. I don't remember the exact endgame but he was able to eke it out (Ryan will have the details).
Game 3 I mill to 5 and keep a hand of Wasteland, Mox Pearl, Tolarian, Sculpting Steel and I think Sphere of Resistance. He's land short and I manage to top deck a second Waste taking out both his Factories. I then find a few more goodies and wind up with a beater with a Sword of Fire and Ice attached for the win.
2-0
Round 3 Patrick and I were matched and decided to ID since we were both 2-0 at that point. We played a friendly match which I won in game 3 after he revealed Darksteel Colossus to Dark Confidant (ouch).
2-0-1
Round 4 I had god hands against Michael who was playing some kind of RBU Vault deck although I didn't see much of it due to my brokenness. Game 1 I opened with Workshop, Lotus, Chalice for 0, Chalice for 1, Lodestone Golem, Go. Game 2 he had a first turn Ancestral, but unfortunately I again had Workshop and Lotus in the opener and laid down Chalice for 0, Juggernaut, Sphere of Resistance. Jug was able to go the distance before he could get out from under the sphere.
3-0-1
Round 5 Jeff and I ID'd and I watched some other games (including some turn 1 Tinker-Colossus nonsense with Patrick vs. Eric).
3-0-2
Top 8 I was paired with Eric who won the tiebreaker for 8th place based on opponents' win percentage. Game 1 he mulled to 6. I decided to take a risk and try to play a first turn Karn off Lotus but he had the Force. He gets a Goyf out and although I put up three Spheres, they don't block, so that was game. In retrospect I definitely should have led with a Sphere, though I was concerned I'd never be able to play Karn if I had done that.
Game 2 he mulls to 5, which he regretted (wishing he'd kept the original 7 instead). I get out a Lodestone Golem and put a Sword on it for the win. I can't recall game 3 but I managed to pull it out to make Top 4.
Top 4 facing the mirror with Dylan again we traded games and then I got gut-punched in Game 3 when I drew a decent hand of Waste, Waste, Shop, Juggernaut, Golem, Sword, something else. I started with Wasteland-Go planning to start dropping stuff the next turn but figuring I should hold the Shop in case he had an initial Waste. Unfortunately he dropped Lotus, Crucible, Wasteland, and Wasted my Wasteland. I was then never able to get 2 lands out at once (although I managed to draw another Waste and a Strip mine and a Crucible of my own), so although I was able to hold him off for a while by continuously stripping his Factory while he replayed it every turn, my only real out was to topdeck a Sol Ring or Mana Vault (since he had Chalice at 0) so that I could play Shop, Ring, creature. He found Karn before I found either of those so that was it.
Great tournament, had a lot of fun, better turnout than we've had recently.

Whoot! Gawdamit! That coulda been me! Anyways, Team Vacaville Scrub Play of the Day: Jimmy playing combo elves, game two after being grinded by PainterGrindstone.dec. Well, the guy painter grindstones him again, and Jimmy scoops up his cards, fills out match slip. While de-sleeving, he notices his TWO Gaea Blessings that he sided in. D'oh!

Missing a Mox Emerald in Jeff's list there.
There were some fun exchanges in Jeff and John's games. At one point John got Vault and Key into play but was tapped out. Jeff then oaths up Terastodon replacing Vault, Key and a land with elephants before John can get an untap step. He gets Jeff to fairly low life with the elephants but then Jeff flips the top card for Oath revealing Iona and names blue. John vamps for Edict but Jeff has Drain.
Earlier Jeff had Key in play and John, who had just tinkered for Inkwell, decides to Ice it during upkeep before Oath happens. He draws Demonic Tutor off the Ice. Jeff oaths up Darksteel and then drops Vault from his hand. Although Key is tapped, John's in trouble as he doesn't have enough mana to cast both Tutor and Time Walk the next turn. He topdecks Ancestral Recall, draws land, Mox, Magus of the Unseen, and is able to search up the Walk and resolve it for the just-in-time win.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

As the list has 59 cards, the Emerald is probably just missing.

Finals was BC w/Mono-red Stax Vs Me w/ Expedition Map MUD we split the credit. After a stint with dredge I decided to go back to shops, because I haven't got to play lodestone golem yet (this card is jessica alba hot) and because playing dredge sucks even when your winning (but not as bad as playing belcher)
So after digging on the boards I came across Meadberts list w/ expedition map, it looked interesting, and I really like the idea of serum powder in MUD as it helps with hands that are just shit, and turns out to not be a horrendous mana source.
here's the list I played based off Meadberts w/ a few minor tweaks
4 Ancient Tomb 4 Mishra's Factory 1 Strip Mine 4 Wasteland 4 Mishra's Workshop 1 Black Lotus 1 Mox Ruby 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Sapphire 1 Mox Emerald 1 Mox Pearl 4 Serum Powder 1 Sol Ring 4 Smokestack 4 Crucible Of Worlds 3 Sculpting Steel 1 Trinisphere 4 Sphere Of Resistance 4 Thorn Of Amethyst 3 Expedition Map 2 Karn,Silver Golem 2 Tangle wire 4 Lodestone Golem sideboard 2 Razormane Masticore 2 duplicant 3 Powder Keg 4 Chalice Of The Void 4 Leyline Of The Void
Big differences about this list, no null rod, just doesn't seem as great as it was 6 months ago, no chalice main, this is debatable, I almost always sided it in while on the play and then would side it out when on the draw.
Round 1 Belcher lose the die Roll g1: we both keep, I don't know what he's on, but my hand has a couple spheres and a little more gas. He plays mox, mox, manamorphose, land grant, d-consult for belcher. He finds it, but never gets to play it.
g2: very similar hand, he d-consults for belcher turn 1 and I play 2 sphere followed by 3 sphere, followed by sculpting steel on 2 sphere....too many spheres!
Round 2: Eilot (top 4) MUD lose die roll g1: He get waste + crucible + spheres in play....I scoop pretty quick
g2: Grinder, I've got a factory and get out multiple smokestacks at one point having 1 at 1 and 1 and 2, there were some dupes duping each other and sculpting steels duping dupes. Fun game, and I'm pretty sure my factory got in for 20 points.
g3: we both mull, but my hand is pretty good, his multiple wastelands and chalice on zero make it less good, I can't find any mana sources and am trounced.
R3 new team vacaville member w/ lotusHeads MUD deck, I could tell because of the foil chalices....mmm foil chalices Lose die roll g1 he opens chalice on zero plus lodestone golem, and I think does this with a mana crypt. I sculpting steel his golem and we trade, he doesn't draw much and my own lodestone golems go to work
g2: He opens lotus, mox, land, chalice at zero, chalice at 1. I open ancient tomb + powder keg, end of his turn I blow the keg, then play 4 moxes, pretty soon a golem+ a sculpted steel one gets in.
r4: Patrick w/ TEZZ lose die roll g1: Patrick isn't pumped to be playing MUD again after playing Eliot last round, but what can you do. He opens Mox, land go. I open Shop 3-Sphere. He plays turn 3 tinker for DSC. I've got outs, but don't draw any.
g2:This one is a little fuzzy, I know I played A LOT of smokestacks, he was keeping up OK with Dark Confidant, but I sculpting steeled multiple smokestacks and eventually ground him out.
g3: Smokestack goes to work again, I ramp one to three, and know he has a drain, I'm holding Sculpting steel waiting to copy the stack because I know he has drain, I draw Karn and have the mana to cast both with 3 extra and him having academy, dark confidant and 3 moxes. He takes the bait and drains the sculpting steel, Karn eats all his moxes and he scoops.
r5 Draw with Brett
Our Entire car of Brett, Eric and I all make top 8...nice!
top 8 Patrick with Tezz lose die roll g1: 2 forces + 2 drains gets rid of pretty much all my threats, he vamps up tinker, and 11/11 ends the game pretty quick.
g2: Don't really remember what happened, I expedition map for strip mine, and Lodestone eventually gets there?
g3: I have crucible up turn 1 with strip in my hand, but due to bob and a mox he keeps hitting land drops, I eventually get a sphere or two out and then a karn
top 4 Eliot MUD I WIN die roll, first time today!
See Eliots post above, my hand game 3 was pretty much the stones. after our match I go see how the other game is going, they just finished game 1 with FOB up. The next two games are grueling, it was very interesting, but lasted like a fricken hour and a half. It was a feature match, so coverage should be up on Eudo's site, but both players looked beat during game 3.
Split in the Finals with BC I was happy to split, welder is generally bad for mud, but I think I may have been able to get there. I take my store credit and add some cash to pick up a nice Beta Jet SWEET!
Serum Powders were GREAT all day, I pitched a bunch of mediocre 7 card hands for ones full of gas. I also had multiple occasions of people attacking into my board of untapped factory and serum powder with their 2/x because they forgot serum power tapped for mana. Expedition maps were good as well, finding me Strip mine a couple times, a shop once, and a factory once. Nice work Meadbert on the list
ALso, 4 shop decks today, 3 made top 4! That's pretty good %!

My list:
4 Workshop 4 Bazaar 4 B-Ring 4 Wasteland 3 Mountain 1 Strip Mine 1 Academy 5 Mox 1 Lotus 1 Sol Ring 1 Mana Crypt 1 Mana Vault 4 Welder 4 Lodestone Golem 4 Tangle Wire 4 Sphere of Resistance 4 Chalice of the Void 3 Smokestack 3 Crucible 3 Null Rod 1 Trinisphere
3 Jester's Cap 3 Viashino Heretic 3 Duplicant 3 Ensnaring Bridge 3 Tormod's Crypt
This is the exact list and sideboard that I've been playing since Lodestone Golem was printed with the exception of -1 Smokestack, +1 Mana Vault. The last time I played in a tournament I felt like the deck had occasional mana issues, so that's why I made the change. The deck ran well all day; I think I only took one mulligan, so there is some anecdotal evidence supporting the change. On to the report!
Rd 1 - Greg w/ Monoblack Depths Combo
Game 1 - I win the role and keep a hand with Bazaar, Lotus, Mox, 4 other lands. I play and activate Bazaar, then play Lotus for the Crucible I just drew. He plays Urborg, Dark Rit, Duress (taking a Mox), Imperial Seal. I Bazaar, play Workshop out of the yard, play Tangle Wire. He plays a Dark Depths. Over the next several turns I get Chalice @ 2, Chalice @ 3, Sphere, Trinisphere, Waste several of his lands, and finally win with Mountain/B-Ring recursion.
Game 2 - He plays Thoughtseize, but I kept another Bazaar/lots of lands hand, so he doesn't get anything important. I Strip his land, then Waste 2 more lands, then eventually do something he can't answer. Monoblack has almost no chance against Workshops.
1-0 (2-0)
Rd 2 - Steve w/ MUD Stax
Game 1 - I win the role again and start with Workshop, Lotus, Crucible, Mana Vault, Sphere. He plays Workshop, Chalice @ 1. I Strip Mine his Shop, then play the Lodestone Golem I just drew, and he goes the distance.
Game 2 - He starts with Chalice @ 0, Shop, Sphere of Resistance. I play land, pass. He plays Lodestone Golem. I don't do much for a couple turns while Lodestone Golem beats me. I eventually get enough mana to play my own Lodestone Golem and trade with his LoGo. With no Golems in play I am finally able to play the Welder I have been holding. He juggles opponent's second LoGo/graveyard LoGo/Sphere for several turns. Eventually I play Smokestack, then Viashino Heretic, and he scoops.
2-0 (4-0)
Rd 3 - Brett w/ Vault Deck
Game 1 - I win the die roll again. He mulls to 5. I play Ruby, Chalice @ 0, Welder, Land, Sol Ring. He draws a card and passes. I play Lodestone Golem, and opponent scoops soon after.
Game 2 - This is pretty much where I stopped taking notes. I know that this game I had sided in Jester's Cap because I really didn't know what he was playing, but when I activated Cap I realized that it really didn't matter. He had Welders, Tarmogoyf, Grudges, Nature's Claim, etc. I took Inkwell, Time Vault, and something else. I had a LoGo at some point, but I think he got Nature's Claimed. Opponent eventually gets a Tarmogoyf and beats me to death with the help of my own Mana Vault.
Game 3 - I have some early business, but everything gets countered. After I run out of resources he has a monster Yawg Will, draws a crapload of cards, Time Walks twice, and passes the turn with a Goyf in play and 5 counterspells in hand.
2-1 (5-2)
Rd 4 - Mark w/ Bant Fish
I have fully stopped taking notes at this point, but this was a feature match, so hopefully the TO took some notes about what happened. I remember it being not very close, as I shut the opponent out of playing spells both games.
3-1 (7-2)
Rd 5 - John w/ Tezz
ID
3-1-1 (7-2)
Top 8 - Brett again
Again, notes are hazy, but both games I have him short on mana. One game he doesn't get off the ground because of an Ancestral that yields no second land. The other game he gets a few lands and a Welder, but eventually all the lands get Wasted and the Welder has nothing to do but juggle my LoGo/Sphere/Crucible for a few turns until I eventually overpower him.
4-1-1 (9-2)
Top 4 - Jeff w/ Oath
As I said before, this was probably the longest, best, most involved, closest match I've ever played in Vintage. It was like the fight at the end of Rocky II. It was also a feature match, so hopefully there are some decent notes about it. The judge and the TO were both watching, but they seemed bored because the match lasted a long time and involved a good deal of thinking on both sides. I will say the following things about this match: - The conventional wisdom (I believe coined by Ben Carp) is "if you're Oathing, you're winning". If this is the case, then Jeff was winning the entire match. He Oathed multiple time in games 1 and 2, and once in game 3. I think the reason I was eventually able to win the match is due to some weaknesses I see in this Oath build. Darksteel Colossus can be (and was) easily welded back into the library. Inkwell or Sphinx would have wrecked me. Terastadon almost always gives the opponent (me) 2-3 dudes to block with, and Terastadon doesn't have trample so it can be stopped cold by a 1/1 Spirit. Another weakness of the build is that it doesn't have Krosan Rec, so you can't set up a combo finish with Yawg Will. I won game 2 by the opponent decking.
Game 1 - Long game. I end up trying to repeatedly block Terastodon by juggling Golems with yard artifacts, while also repeatedly welding Colossus back into the library. It's a losing battle, and Tezzeret eventually shows up to end it. Game 2 - Even longer game. First turn Welder. He gets Oath instantly. Several Tangle Wires keep Terastodon tapped for a little while. D-Steel jumps back into the deck. Eventually opponent's entire library is milled except for 3 cards, and I have just enough dorks to go the distance. Just to make sure, I take his last card with welded Jester's Cap. Game 3 - Longest game. Both of us start slow. Lots of topping. I hold a Duplicant literally the entire game while Bazaaring away a good fraction of my library. I have Chalice @ 2, Crucible, Mtn, B-Ring, and Wasteland to keep Oath out of play. Eventually Chalice dies to Nature's Claim. Another Nature's Claim get the Crucible while Wasteland is in the graveyard. His Oath eventually activates, Terastodon comes in giving me 3 Elephants to go with my Spirit guy. I use my Duplicant to take out Terastadon, then swing for 10 with my army, which is exactly enough.
5-1-1 (11-3)
Finals - Dylan
I feel like I have a good matchup, but it's late and I'm completely wasted from the last match, so I'm happy to take the split. He takes $245 in credit and the official title of tournament winner. I take $200 credit, free entry and a first round bye for the Eudemonia Lotus Tournament, and official runner-up status. Now I just have to make sure I go to the Lotus Tournament.

Congrats on picking up the Jet. I think if I play MUD in a tournament again I'd have to put the Smokestacks back in. Definitely need to get a second Karn too - I only played 1 since I only own one and was running no proxies so didn't really want to have to proxy a $5 card Here was my list: Maindeck: 1 Black Lotus 1 Mox Emerald 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Pearl 1 Mox Ruby 1 Mox Sapphire 1 Sol Ring 1 Mana Crypt 1 Mana Vault 3 Crucible of Worlds 4 Sphere of Resistance 4 Thorn of Amethyst 1 Trinisphere 4 Tangle Wire 4 Chalice of the Void 4 Lodestone Golem 4 Juggernaut 1 Karn, Silver Golem 2 Sword of Fire and Ice 1 Sculpting Steel 1 Jester's Cap 4 Mishra's Workshop 4 Ancient Tomb 2 City of Traitors 2 Mishra's Factory 4 Wasteland 1 Strip Mine 1 Tolarian Academy Sideboard: 4 Tormod's Crypt 3 Pithing Needle 2 Jester's Cap 2 Ensnaring Bridge 2 Sculpting Steel 2 Duplicant

Very good build.
very nice oath list. I also assume he didnt have an emerald and used the Ruby instead?
That's the one I suggested in the Terastodon Oath thread--cut 1 Top, Strip, Ponder, Show and Tell for 3 Drain, 1 Jace.

After testing it a bit with a few slightly modifications I nevertheless missed Twister/Reclamation and didn't really felt the need for the big elefant, so I came back to our build at the moment (Darmstadt: just a few threads under that).

This is like the first tourney that Luis, Web, and I played the same exact 75. But after 3 rounds, I was a lock to top 8 and both of them are dead; I guess sometime I just run better. I felt like I played real tight throughout the whole day till I played against BC. Nerves got to me I guess, I always kind of choke... made some very obvious misplays and probably made couple questionable choices.... I was kind of iffy on playing Gifts already, and now there is Terastadon... god, more decisions to make... I hate life. But to highlight some good stuffs, Jace won me the mirror in game 1 in the Oath mirror. I was able to bounce my tokens back and win the Orchard war. I was able to beat Fish round 2 and 3, which I drew pretty well. Oath vs. creatures is pretty sweet sometimes :-p In the quarterfinals both my opponents and I have some sick draws and rips. I was able to win game 1 on the back to Mana Drain, guess it had been a while since ppl played against it. My games against BC was pretty awesome and it sucks I came out on the losing end (for me at least). I might sound bit sour, but that is because I hate losing lol. Upon reflecting, this game was really fun. Thanks a lot for the games BC ^_^ Forgot the details about game 1 ^^" But I was able to play Vault and play Tez to untap after his Lodestone Golem died ^^ Game 2 it was really awkward when I oath up Tin Man as my first dude. Then I Oath the elephant, and the 3rd Oath it was Tin man again and I only have 4 cards left... so with like 40++ cards left I milled to the bottom 4, nice. To make it worth, I drew Iona the next turn. And it was pretty obvious all he had to do is to hold on for a couple turns and with him able to Oath out a Duplicant was bad for me. I can't give him spirit because he will just chump block. Oath'ing till 5 cards when you have 3 targets left in 40+ cards left is unreal bad. Game 3 I was able to make land drops Drained a Tanglewire and landed a top. But on his turn he crucially wasted my green source so I can't cast Nature's Claim which I was holding for his Sol Ring. He started with Black Lotus, Mountain, Sol Ring and Chalice @ 2 which I counted. I have top out, but I was unable to find a green source for fucking 5+ turns with the top spinning and he was able to find a Crucible before my land. If any of those turns I can get out green source the game would turn out differently. Frustration got to me as I made a pretty awk. noob blunder. The thing is, without the blunder the game might be over for me because he was holding Duplicants. When I Oath'ed out the elephant I hit 2 bridges + his workshop, so can't can't cast Duplicant. Then he masterfully plays a workshop, dup my guy, and swung for lethal. I wasn't winning at that point, with me playing Iona, Elephants and DSC, I can't really get through that well with his welder, spirit/elephant tokens, and Dups. This is the first tourney I played a 100% netdeck. I miss having echoing truth main and pithing needle sb, these are just good utility cards in the NorCal imo. But many thanks to the competent posters who posted on the Elephant Oath thread, this deck is awesome. Jace is sweet and good. Mana Drain is beautiful for me (partly because people here haven't seen it in a while). I had Sphnix instead of DSC, but changed to DSC last minute because honestly Oath is weak against combo and already decent against creature based decks. I'd rather give combo a turn less. But with ppl so aware of Oath in our meta, something untargetable or with protection may be better. I am just bit bitter that a change I made and ultimate switch back kind of cost me a game. I am just going to customize the deck to suit me better. And I hate Gifts and Terastadon, too good not to play, but so hard to play right, I suck at this game Also many thanks to Ryan Reynolds for spending long hours judging ^^ See you all at Superstars in 2 weeks ^^ Gonna pack DI workshop hate. Edit: as I was posting I see Gunslinga posted. Thanks for the list dude.

Congrats to the top 8.
@jeffthefob
I think your situation with decking could have been avoided by adding a 2nd Terastodan and having Show and Tell mainboard. Terastodan comes out and blows up the land but does not swing. 2nd Terastodan comes out and locks them down and gives you maybe 1-2 tokens.
If you draw your creature, tutor for Show and Tell and drop it. And in testing, Inkwell has shown the best results because it cannot be targetted by anything. In your case, Sphinx would have been the best, but in my case Inkwell can help me win the Selkie matchups too.
Also, I have noted that it is sometimes best to give them only 1 or 2 tokens rather than 3. A lot of times if blowing up mana would be pointless, I calculate how many tokens I can give myself and still be able to Oath next turn.
