Call me crazy, but I kind of prefer the dual lands. It makes the prize pool slightly less top heavy, and everybody likes dual lands. Much more tradeable than Moxes.

If more people start showing up I might be able to start giving you folks Moxes again. Sort of a chicken/egg thing depending on where you sit. Some of us don't show up because we don't like the prize support (i.e. no moxen), but the prize support won't get better until more people show up. I wish you guys were in Sac; it would be much easier for the Reno/Tahoe crew to attend regularly. |

I think it's more likely than not. This is one of the first weekends where I haven't been away traveling, and I know that with Gencon coming up and its linking with US Nationals, other people who are attending will want to get some additional practice in if possible. |

Just found out I am slated to do work type stuff for 6 Sundays starting Aug 21, presumably day of next tourney. Hopefully I can get boss to make that first sunday a saturday (and possibly all of the days a saturday). It's really only arbitrary that these SAT classes be on Sunday. Maybe I can get it to be Saturday for now on. Or at least hopefully just every 4th Saturday  . I got metagamed deck all figured out and everything. |

Hey guys,
Just wanted to make sure you know about the new way we're doing Vintage. I've gone back to guaranteeing a Mox! This month we're giving away an Emerald. We value it at $350, so the entry fee will be 350 divided by the number of players. If we get to 14 players, that puts us at our usual $25 entry fee. We'll stop changing the entry fee at that point, and any entries past that will add more store credit (or dual lands or whatever) to the prize pool.
Also, I realize running straight 3 rounds for 8 players last time was a mistake and I should have run a top 4. It won't happen like that again.
We're playing Vintage THIS SUNDAY for that Emerald, so please come play - I love watching you guys battle. The more friends you bring, the less you'll have to pay.

I would've like to preregister to get in the cool prize drawing, but the store site showed registrations as "out of stock" - is that because you can't determine exactly what it would cost? Is there another way to handle that?

Tim had to work on short notice because I had to take Emily to the ER. Sorry about the confusion. From what I've heard he ran $20 entry and paid out all the entries in store credit. Next month I'll be here and we'll be Moxing it up.
