Vintage at PandemoniumIt's back! Saturday, March 24thThe event begins at 1pm. Registration starts at 12. This is an unlimited proxy event. $25 entry fee Here's what we'll be giving as prizes. In all cases, there will be store credit to at least the top 4, and for the top8 for larger events. We have some of each blue dual available. 12+ 2 duals or equivalent value
16+ 3 duals or equivalent value
20+ 4 duals or equivalent value.
24+ 5 duals or equivalent value.
Decklists will be required at this event, with all proxies marked. Proxy rulesDue the the higher value of this tournament, our proxy rules will be more strict than in our other events. * All proxies must clearly have the correct card name, mana cost, card type, and all relevant rules text (or a close approximation for common cards). You can either use a sharpie on a basic land card or card back, or you can modify a card by altering the text on it. Textless proxies altered this way will be acceptable as long as they contain the card name and mana cost. * If you use the "shapie on back of card" method, opaque sleeves will be required. * Abbreviations will be acceptable as long as they are unambiguous. For example, a proxy marked "Jace TMS" with the mana cost and "+0 Brainstorm" "-1: Unsummon", etc, would be acceptable. * Paper slips in card sleeves will not be accepted unless all 75 are done the same way. Please check with the head judge if you have any questions. If you have any questions about the validity of your proxies, please speak to me or the head judge before the event begins. Pandemonium Books and Games 4 Pleasant Street Cambridge, MA 02139DirectionsYou may RSVP on Facebook, as well as follow the Pandemonium Page

To all,
Try and drum up as much attention for this event as you can, I would like to draw in a good crowd so we can start looking at doing this scale tournament more regularly!
Tell your friends/family/second cousins thrice removed. Anyone who could possibly be interested in playing vintage.
Any of the big name players out there going to surface for air? I hope so.
I'm looking at you Brassman, DA, and the like. Are they even still alive?

If I am not alive, zombie DA will try to shamble over to Cambridge. So it's really a win-win.

Well if your grandparents were going to play MTG Vintage would seem like the appropriate format.

Excellent turnout yesterday, hope it continues. Thank you Gavin and Craig for your hard work.
Two things that need improvement:
Actual rules regarding the creation and use of proxies.
The store needs to provide more staff; a L1 Judge (?) running pairing, rulings, and watching over the event is not enough as evident by the total dickery that happened to me in round three.
