Good turn out last night with 10 people quite a few new faces!  Glad to see we're getting some new people into the format.

Top 4 standings as follows:

1st - Jeff Greene w/Landstill (Shakes fist angrily)
2nd - Zivvy Epstein w/ Rug Aggro control? (Trygons, Cliques, Magus of the Moon etc...)
3rd - Craig Masley w/ Drain Tendrils
4th - Bobby Sullivan w/Confidant Control? (didn't get to see many of your matches sorry bobby)

Thanks all who turned out it was a great night with a very diverse meta (There was even someone playing dredge who wasn't me.)

Hope to see you all next week.

Damn right, and my only loss of the night was to that jerk playing landstill.  But at least they were good games.  Game 1 ate up about 40 minutes and then I blew it with a bad gifts pile.  Game 2 I mulled to 6 and he had turn 1 library on the play followed I believe by a turn 3 standstill which just put him way too far ahead.

Are you sure it's not the auto pilot permission package?

Picking which of the 5 counters you have to use when your opponents down to 1 card is hard times.

I talked a few of them briefly after the end of the tournament and at least 3 of them said they were definitely coming back again.  So hoorah!  At this point if we can get all of our regulars and the new people we'll probably hit 20 people.

One player, Dylan, totally new to Vintage borrowed a deck (strix control) and split in the finals last week!  This event is really growing.  Who's gonna take it down tomorrow?

Wow stellar turnout last night with 14 people! And still more new faces!

We had a nice diverse meta again last night but it looks like shops is coming out of retirement over at old Pandemonium here are the top 4 standings -

1st: (The) Bill Copes (Shops)
2nd: Keith Carpentier (Shops)
3rd: Andy (Brass Man) Probasco (Dredge)
4th Ben Fiengersh (BUG Control)

Thanks all for the support in these weekly Vintage events.  Thanks to the steady influx of people and fantastic word of mouth from our players the Boston Vintage community is alive and thriving again so lets keep it going.  Also keep your eyes out for some bigger events coming up in the future.

an FYI, I will not be able to attend this weeks event, but if someone is willing to run the event in my place it can still be run.  I know some people have stepped up in the past.  So let me know...otherwise I will try and contact someone at the store to run it.

Thanks.

Another Tuesday another battle of epic proportions!  Hope to see everyone there tonight.  I'll be hanging out early to get some practice matches in and maybe some EDH.

Alright folks.. We need to get some people playing vintage again.   Last couple weeks attendance has not been stellar so we should work on that.   So who's gonna step up and come sling cards tomorrow.?
