My major concern is the small chance that I'll get the opportunity to dispense the beatdown I've promised you. Since this tourney is going to be the bomb, the attendance is big enough that my chances of playing you round 1 are slim. In round 2 I'd have to get the pair down to be facing an 0-1 opponent like yourself, which would only be possible if we have an odd number. In round 3 and after it's just not possible for a X-0 like myself to get paired against an 0-X! I'll just have to hope we get paired round 1, I could use a bye. Who knows, maybe your round one opponent will fill in the match slip incorrectly and you'll have a shot to play me in round 2! |

I've never talked with such a douchebag in this community before (with one recent exception). To respect prospero and this tournament I will stop the trash talk and we'll see who is superior when we play.
Woah woah, Ok, so I'm gonna let this die out right now, and I think that's the best for everyone here, but Cody, I can't speak for Mike but I'm pretty sure he was just jesting, and is not even remotely serious. Having met Mike a couple of times this I'm sure is the case (he can correct me in private if I'm wrong). I'm pretty sure the sarcasm just doesn't translate well here. That being said, lets try and keep things civil from here on out. |

I have updated the original post with what Mox we have for prizes. That's right folks its a very minty unlimited Mox Sapphire. And it can be all yours if you beat the competition. I will try and get scans up of the Mox for reference purposes but for now you can just picture the best looking sapphire you can imagine and you're probably close.

The remaining prizes will be dependent on attendance. Most likely the option of store credit or product from the store (ie: Booster Boxes etc). We did discuss the options for adding addition cards such as dual lands, FoW, and other Vintage staples should the number of people be high enough. So those options are there. I will say that the store has a good history of providing excellent prize support so I'll assure you it won't be disappointing. |
