2nd TMD Invitational (2003) - I'm in the middle next to Carl.

I'm the one who took this picture, although that would make it difficult to see me. I have plenty of post-markering Dave Kaplan pictures tho.

Been too long dude. They use creatures now, it's weird.

I guess I'm in the minority of WoW players, but I quit because there never was anything to do. I was in a top guild, and we just crushed everything such that it probably would have been more fun for me to actually be casual. If you're on the higher end of WoW, they really don't release relevant content fast enough to keep it interesting, and there's only so many races to grind to exalted (for rewards you generally won't use anyway) or gold to farm (for things you buy that aren't as good as your gear anyway). The only enjoyable part of the game was arena towards the end, but how many times can you really get gladiator?

Ray,

I love you.

However, this thread makes me kind of sad. Does anyone on TMD nowadays even know who I am? I'd love to see a Zherbus at this event.

So it's all about you, huh, Kerz?!?  Yeah, I remember who you are.  You pissed on my couch.

We would never do such a thing.
Technically I think he pissed on me, but when I was sleeping on your couch.  I almost forgot about that hellz I'm glad I still have his squees.

Yeah...he pissed on you...you woke up in a half drunk stupor wondering what the hell was going on.

BTW...it had nothing to do with Big Chuck and I dipping his hand in warm water as he slept.

I think drinking after your tournaments was not an uncommon venture, you just always had to work the tournament or the next day and never partook. I think all you'd really have to do is have a tournament and not have it go late, and the shenanigans always follow. That said, the people that went out also tended to have rooms and stay for a second day, and that second day limits your availability to go get hammered. I've been itching to play again lately so I'd probably show up.
6  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: When did you enjoy vintage the most? on: June 03, 2009, 06:33:29 pm
When the SCG Power 9's first started up, and there were parties at Josh's.

From my knowledge of what games you'd actually play Steve, pretty much anything you'd get that's new is going to be able to run it unless you go super bare minimum. I have a Thinkpad for work and I'm a fan of it, unsure about the price though.

I saw this last night.  Initial reports are correct.  This really is the best movie so far this year!  Go see this movie!!

Pretty much sums it up.

Congrats Buddy.
10  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Diablo II - Does anyone have characters on USEast/USWest? on: June 10, 2008, 08:48:31 am
For anyone wanting to start again, ladder reset next tuesday, though I'm personally undecided with what I'll do.

I don't even play anymore and this actually makes me want to start again because it makes everything so much more interesting.
13  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Diablo II - Does anyone have characters on USEast/USWest? on: May 30, 2008, 04:14:06 pm
Not so much dupes, but there are bots. People using the bots to run baal don't seem to really be stopped, however several people I know using bots to do meph or whatnot have been.
14  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Diablo II - Does anyone have characters on USEast/USWest? on: May 29, 2008, 06:44:00 pm
So accounts of anyone who actually plays? Need people to play with.

16  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Diablo II - Does anyone have characters on USEast/USWest? on: May 22, 2008, 10:58:24 pm
To dredge up an old topic, I started playing again recently, USEast Ladder. Anyone still around?

I'll probably actually come to this, mostly for the before and afterparty which usually tends to go along with such things.

Remember that time at Steve's when you were really drunk? Yeah ...

Steve's couch never forgot it.

Yeah I'd give it a shot as well.
20  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Fantasy Baseball - Keeper League on: February 22, 2008, 09:22:53 pm
What are the rules for this league?

Also curious

22  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Guitar Hero 3! on: October 30, 2007, 08:44:09 am
I think overall it's easier then GH2, even the last group of songs wasn't particularly hard. I guess it's debatable if Through the Fire and Flames is harder then Jordan, and I'd probably give it the nod because it's so damn long.
23  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Baseball! on: October 17, 2007, 05:47:53 pm
The Tigers are poised to walk into the World Series once again this year.

Just pointing out your original prediction Very Happy

Voting this Carl not quite crazy enough.
25  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Nate Pease - Banned on: December 24, 2006, 11:50:18 am
As someone who's helped Ray out running Waterbury's on more the one occasion, I'd just like to point out that running it isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world, and if Ray wants to get rid of someone who is consistently making things more difficult for him to run the event smoothly, no one should be complaining. Those who know Ray know that he isn't running the tournaments because they are wildly profitable to him (they aren't), he runs them as a service to the community. I don't know Nate Pease, so I won't claim to judge him based on the facts presented in this thread, rather I'll choose to judge him on the fact that everyone who has been to Waterbury can attest that Ray goes out of his way to be fair to everyone and if he has deemed Nate's acts to warrant not allowing him back at his tournaments, I'm in full support of his decision.

Eh, we still clear Naxx every week because we enjoy doing it, that's why you raid.
27  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: World of Warcraft on: November 27, 2006, 05:48:48 pm
So who's still around?
28  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: Final Fantasy XII Strategic Collaboration Thread on: November 27, 2006, 05:29:10 pm
I really never used quickenings. I beat the game at level 64 or so, and it was stupidly easy, such that it was dissappointing. I haven't done all the hunts yet due to lack of time, but that certainly seems to be where any challenge in this game is.

You should hook me up with the turtle mount scratch off...
30  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: World of Warcraft on: June 17, 2006, 10:30:18 am
Finally killed C'thun here.

Managed to take Thrall to 19% with like 35 people last night as well. We plan on killing him next week. He was retardedly easy, and had we better prepared to keep the horde out, would have been dead.
