Updates from Kowal:
Kowal (NW Jar Slaver) is 3-1 Rich Shay (you'll never guess what he's playing </sarcasm>) is 2-1, working on being 3-1 Andy Probasco (Gifts, I think), same as Rich Smmenen (??), same Matt (Hydra from ICBM) (CS) 2-2

Can someone give me an idea of what SS is? I'm not asking for a decklist or anything, but I have never heard of it before. I have gathered that it is fish-esque, but that is about all I can figure.

Nevermind, sorry for the double post, but I found my answer on the SCG threads, and wanted to post it here for any other TMDers with the same question. ] Congrats go out to ICBM's Tommy Kolowith (TK) who was MY pick to top8 with his "Pile" which is a fish deck that utilizes Erayo and Dimir Cutpurse. He crushed his way with a 5-0-2 and then in the top eight 2-1 Kowal, 2-0 a Canadian, and 2-0 The Finals to win Day 1 Rochester. They played it out, and tommy got the Lotus and the Twister (I assume)

Brassman is 4-1 with gifts.
Smem is 4-1 with long sans repeal.
Outlaw is out having drawn with ugo, and then drawing with someone else.
Kowal is 4-1 or 3-2, presumably with slaver w/ night's whisper.
Long is apparently all over, and people are making a lot of play mistakes against it letting it slip by. Brassman said there were a bunch of people who totally threw games away against long by dumb mistakes.

Kowal, Andy, and Rich are all out. Apparently Peter (Dicemanx) is in T8 again with Dragon, and Smmenen is in with combo.

Rich was knocked out by Steve, who apparantly gave him 3 turns the entire match.
2 Bombermans are in.
Kowal was knocked out by UG Madness, of all things.

I learned 2 things this weekend
1: dark confidant kills you if you run sundering titan, 2 mindslavers, a triskelion, a memory jar, and/or a mind's desire.
2: Errayo doesn't work well with workshop slaver. Elias is 0-1 on suggesting cool cards for me to run. My famous words to ICBM: So, you would cut duress for errayo right, errayo kind of works like duress? ICBM: Yeah, if they force of will it.
It was a fun time, I got to sling a lot of bad cards. Maybe I should have taken this weekend a little more seriously, but there is always more tournaments.
4 workshops to win next week, and waterbury a month away. How cool is that!

Pretty stoked to see where Diceman took dragon! Grats to everybody though.
The build itself is a modified u/b version (and as stated, doesnt run Squee). Without talking to Peter I'll hold off on giving up the list, allthough it'll be posted anyways via SSC shortly. Its fast, and rewards aggressive play. Grats to both Noah and Peter on their preformances. Wish I could of attended with Dragon list #3

Seroogy Stax just beat Smmenen in 3. Steve resolved Tinker, Yawgmoth's Will, Hurkyl's Recall, Chain of Vapor, and a ton of Moxen in one turn, then passed the turn. Seroogy proceeded to play his Tinker and Cap all of Steve's win conditions.

The dragon list is not really that different, it is more a culmination of all the lists of the past. Theyve been working on it for a long time and the perfect tweaking payed off. All the cards he is playing that arent standard in modern dragon lists are found in his Dragon primer.

If you manage to play Mind's Desire in your piles I naturally assumed you can flip Erayo, so next time try Future Sight as my second suggestion, it's one mana cheaper then Mind's Desire For those interested I started off 4-0 with Gro a Tog and lost to Tommy and Diceman in round 5 and 6. I lost to my own Mana Crypt by losing 12 life and I think my games with Diceman were the closest in my whole time playing Type 1, and I am sure he would agree... Day 2 I played Bazaar Madness and went home at 3-1. I should really stop leaving events when I am winning, but I was playing crappy Madness.

Seroogy is up a game, and it's game two of the finals. He's playing for the lotus/twister versus recall, no splits again. Game two apparently isn't looking too great for him.
Good luck ICBM Possible two finals wins in two days

Pretty sure he did. Top 8 was something like this: Dragon (Dicemanx top 4) Slaver (Ugo Rivard, top 8) 2x Bomberman Stax (Jeremy Seroogy, ICBM, won) GrimLong (Smmenen, top 4) TT Confidant (Eli Kassis, finals, lost) Slaver (UR, morphed into Stax, top 8)

Of course Gifts lost to Stax in the finals. I'd love to see lists out the wazoo when they're released.
Bomberman is the big surprise of the weekend, although I'm also pleasantly surprised Dragon did so well. Slaver at an all time low, GrimLong was running rampant all weekend (so I've heard, although the numbers I've seen haven't quite shown it), and there was practically zero green enchantments being played. Strange. -AJ
