Paul's deck was 4c of he played the deck we brewed.

Not sure, I played him in a pretty long 3 game bout and never saw a 4th color, so I assumed he was just on BUG with Bobs, Goyfs, Trygons etc., but I'll take your word for it.

You're right, Will.  My list is exactly like that.  i didn't feel like the list I brewed up with Steve was ready for prime time so i just ran the best list I had come up with in the last couple weeks.

This was a really good time - as usual Coss runs a good show.  Congrats to Shawn for getting the first, he seemed to be doing well all day.

I lost round 1 to Jeff Anand who did a good job to advance the Slaver deck he always plays with newer cards.  I had a pretty good run from that point and managed to be the top player with my record after round 6 (which almost never happens when you lose rd 1) so I had the luxury of drawing in.

My match with Hornung came down to me only having 6 anti- dredge cards because i didn't expect anyone good to be playing it.  I might have had a shot in game 1 if he didnt have double Bazaar, although 95% i'd have lost anyways.  Game 2 I had to counter 3 removal cards on my Leyline.  Game 3 i just didn't come up with any hate.  In any case Mark has some balls for playing Dredge with mainboard Cages floating around.  As usual, what I call the "Dredge paradox" presents itself again: Dredge is even better when people predict it's bad.  Congrats to Mark for electing to split.

Yeah this tourney was fantastic. Thanks again, Nick!
Played absolutely atrociously in the main event, but got second in the Side Event. Playing against Jake Gans is truly hilarious/amazing every time it happens. He killed me with a miser Tendrils both games when I had him dead on board (Jace @ 13, then BSC on board game 2). SICK LIFE!!!!!
Props - the Vintage Community - you guys kick ass
Slops - Gush. This card sucks. I was so sick of it by the end of the day. Bobs were the nuts in the side event.

Will - no remora... I cut them for the trinket Mage package....

Paul - thanks bud.... I was running hot... I think I lost a total of of 2-3 games all day with the 5-0-2 record after the two id rounds.

Also, gush rocked all day for me!

CONGRATS Shawn! I'm glad to see you not only made it out to a tourney, but you just crushed this one.

I'm really pissed I wasn't at this one.

Killing you with Ebrus was probably the best part of that day. Railbirding the finals match of the side event was a close second, though. Mystical Tutor is the best Hymn to Tourach ever.

Tournament was awesome, even if it really drove home that I have NO idea what I'm doing in vintage if I'm not playing ANT anymore. I managed to lose to Smokestacks shop after Lilly ultimating twice, and then got murdered by elfball. I know there's another loss in there, but I think by that point I just started repressing everything.

This was tons-o-fun!  Glad we could make it down for the event.  Thank you, Mr. Coss and everyone who showed!

It was really nice meeting people, playing exciting, highly-competitive matches, and being Bill Copes in a room full of people that think being so is a good thing.

If TMD has taught me anything in the past few months, it's that, you sir are awesome. I have not met you in person, but I picture you being like Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen.

Thanks to everyone who came out for this, and thanks to Nick for hosting.

I've never had as much fun going 0-4 in a tournament....

Glad to see the third member of team New England actually made top 8.  Hopefully we can get more attendance for the next one from New England.

Bill Copes bought me a beer after using the power of his mind to remove all the Bazaars and Serum Powders from my deck in two consecutive games.
