Im sort of considering moving here somewhere in the area but possibly more west in the mountains. Might not be until after this next fall that I actually get my own roof, but I will be in and out of the area most of the year for sure.
If I am able to get my crads from Nebraska the main think I am going to need is like,
tolarian academy(i think mine is in Ohio) U. Seas Trops a Tezz, sowers of temptation

Oh snap. Glad I randomly hopped on to the drain. I am currently located in Denver.
Some of my cards are currently located in Nebraska. I dunno if I will have access to them before this weekend, but if I do I might be seen at this tournament.
So, here is to hoping you people will lend me a few cards as well, my collection has been hit these past few years on the road.
Also, me votes for more proxies in the future.
Heck, I should probably just show up either way. Someone will hand me a crappy goblin deck at least.

I believe I was cutting the two Tezz, the early draw spells, and the crypt/needle. I never boarded out the key/vault combo.
If they don't play a lot of creatures that just means I have less things to worry about so I can concentrate on winning the game. If they are opting to play less creatures and more spells I don't feel as threatend because eventually they are going to run out of gas and not have dealt 20 damage yet. If they play more creatures than Oath is just that much better so whatever.

Lyle, didn't you hike the Appalachian trail? I bet if you started walking now, you'd make it to Sandusky by Saturday. From there people would be able to drive you around.
Thats very true. I can atleast hike it up to Columbus from here in about a day and a half. IS anybody going from columbus that wouldnt mind me tagging along and not contributing anything to it? IF that fails there is a slight chance I would leave thursday afternoon after dinner and hike up route 27 hoping for some lucky hitches and try to get there in time. I think it might be possible, but at the same time it could epic fail.

If anybody is going from SW Ohio I would be happy if you would let me tag along even though I might not get to play depending on how my money this week goes. I have no gas money to offer either so be warned of that.
Single day, both days or even if I have to stay all week. It doesnt matter to me.

Oh, and SCG didn't even cover the Chicago event with NO type 2 going on the same day... I'm starting to think they don't care about the event anymore.
Honestly I think it has more to do with the size of the vintage community. Everyone knows everyone and pretty much everything gets talked about on here. Covering it officially really seems like its just a waste of money on SCGs part. Its hard enough to consistently make money on power 9 series with gas prices the way they are. Look at how many times attendance has been like 50. Between tourney reports and coverage, most everything gets said, or enough that wasting money on coverage isnt worth it because the profit margin is tight enough as it is.

The only thing i did well with yesterday was my sandwich. I got owned by mark trogdon and his decks.
I usually order two of the ¾ pound of beef burgers and finish them still a little hungry and for somehow i never realized the thurminator exists 2 of their ¾ pound beef patties topped with ham and a side of fries with a pickle spear. I inquired to the waitress about the sandwich. She said only 1 guy ever finished one while she was working in the 5 years that she had been there. It was delicious. My one criticism is that the sandwich had a liberal amount of pickle slices while is also had a pickle spear on the side. I feel the pickles on the sandwich would have been better as a more liberal dose of the other fine condiments. Mark Trogdon agrees. OOh or mayber just a second pickle spear would have been better. Indeed I think so Upon completion I asked the waitress if they served desert. They have brownie bites. HOW GOOD!! She said she would pay for them if I finished those. Yummy. Before ordering brownies I mentioned about stopping and getting a frosty float from Wendy’s on the way home. A guy I brought with me got excited for frostys so I stopped and had a frosty float too. I honestly could have eaten more too but my food bill for the weekend was already running a bit on the high(heh) side after the previous evenings Sammy Hagar concert(I didn’t like him but the mad Anthony express opened for him and that was quite enjoyable) The only thing to eat at the concert were 6 dollar burritos. My were they good. Lyle 1, Thurminator 0. I must do this more often.
