The Grudge Match is upon us once again! It is up to YOU, the players of the New England region, to decide who you want representing you against the far less talented teams of New York and Philadelphia! Pick the FIVE most talented Vintage players who live in the New England region. The three players with the highest vote totals will make up TEAM NEW ENGLAND, and represent the region! If anyone can't attend, the player with the 4th most votes will be put on the team, and so on. Here are the qualifications: 1) The player/s must live in the New England region. This includes Connecticut and all points North and East. 2) The player/s must be good at Vintage. Yes, I know everyone wants to vote for your BFFs and teammates. Use tournament results since the last Grudge Match as a barometer. Have the player/s you want to vote for Top 8'ed recently, or perhaps even won? If yes, then they would make a good candidate. 3) The player/s must be awesome (this SHOULD be a gimme, since everyone from New England is awesome). Anyone can change their votes by editing their post up until Friday, February 10th, when this thread will be locked. LET THE VOTING BEGIN!

1. We've kept New England in the basement for a year now. They don't belong anywhere else, so let's keep it that way.

I think nobody knows who is attending, which is the unfortunate part. I have a good guess that one Ray Robillard and Scott Hughes will be making an appearance, since they attended my first event of the year, and have proven that they'll make the trip!

Both Scott and I should be there. Now let's hope that I don't have the same pairings I did last time: Rd 1: Loss to Butker...who goes on to win the whole thing Rd 2: Loss to Jeff Folinus Rd 3: Loss to Chris Pikula I seriously thought opponents are supposed to get easier as you lose. |

Last year the whole car lost Round 1 to the NJ Turnpike. Then I got turn one blightsteel'd twice out of round 2. Then round 3 was a bye. I dropped. I intend to improve the previous record at this event. I'm 100% fine pushing all in on Bill Copes

This also happened to me the last grudge match. While my GPS said it would take under 2 hours, it took 3 and half. Sadly, I had to come in with a round 1 loss. This year, I get a round one win whoopie! |
